Roma defender Gianluca Mancini has been fined 5,000 for his celebrations after Sunday's derby win against Roma.

Mancini was the matchwinner on the day and celebrated by waving a giant flag emblazed with 'anti-Lazio' and another with a picture of a rat in Lazio colours. Mancini did his flag waving in front of the Curva Sud at Olimpico.

An official statement announced: "The Sports Judge Dr. Gerardo Mastrandrea, assisted by Stefania Ginesio and the AIA Representative Carlo Moretti, took the following decisions during the meeting of 9 April 2024:

Roma); resolves to sanction the footballer Gianluca Mancini (Soc. Roma) with a fine of 5,000.00 for having waved an offensive banner towards the opposing team's fans during the post-match celebrations under his own stadium."
