Roma defender Rick Karsdorp undergoes nasal surgery

Roma defender Rick Karsdorp has undergone nasal surgery.

The Holland international has suffered a nose fracture and underwent surgery last week.

It means Karsdorp is out of today's derby against Lazio.

A statement was released by the club medical staff confirming that Karsdorp went under the knife at the Villa Stuart clinic in Rome to reduce the fracture of his nasal bones.

Karsdorp is expected to be back immediately after the international break.
