Roma are dreaming of signing Inter Milan this summer by qualifying for the Champions League next season.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews.

It is hardly a secret that Roma are keen to sign Inter Milan midfielder Davide Frattesi.

The Giallorossi had chased the Italian international throughout the January transfer window.

However, Frattesi stayed put at Inter, despite reported dissatisfaction over his playing time.

Reportedly, Inter would have wanted a fee as high as €40-45 million to sell Frattesi.

Roma Dream Of Signing Frattesi With Champions League Qualification

Davide Frattesi is still a major target for Roma heading into the summer transfer window.

However, Inter’s asking price for the 25-year-old remains a major obstacle for the capital club. The Nerazzurri are hardly going to drop their demands by much.

However, Roma could get a major boost if they are to qualify for the Champions League.

The Giallorossi have made a remarkable rise up the table over the second half of the season under Claudio Ranieri.

And heading into the final match of the season, Roma have the chance to qualify for the Champions League.

Certainly, if the Giallorossi are to qualify for Europe’s biggest club competition next season, it will have a big effect on their summer transfer window.

And according to the Gazzetta, one of Roma’s main targets in the event that they have Champions League revenues to spend would be none other than Frattesi.
