Roma are seriously interested in making a move for Torino full back Raoul Bellanova this summer as they look to rejuvenate their squad.

The Giallorossi have finally appointed a new sporting director following Tiago Pinto’s exit back in February, hiring Florent Ghisolfi from OGC Nice. The French director has now been tasked with revitalising Daniele De Rossi’s squad ahead of the new season.

Roma are planning to shake things up this summer as they look to ship out unneeded players and bring in younger options, giving the club a strong foundation to build from. De Rossi shined in his first half-season and will soon sign a three-year contract with the Giallorossi.

Roma look to Bellanova

Page 14 of today’s Corriere dello Sport details how Roma are planning to open talks with Torino for Bellanova in the coming weeks, keen to beat out Aston Villa and the other interested clubs in the talented 24-year-old, who is part of the preliminary Italy squad ahead of Euro 2024.

Contracted to the Granata to June 2027, he is valued at around €15m, an accessible price for the Giallorossi, who are looking to carry out a sustainable summer transfer window.
