Atalanta and Bologna have reportedly sent scouts to watch Standard Liege talent Hakim Sahabo with an eye towards an offer in 2026.

According to Tuttomercatoweb, both Serie A sides have been keeping a close watch on the player who turned 20 in June, sending their representatives to the stands on several occasions in recent weeks.

Although born and raised in Belgium, he has chosen to represent Rwanda at international level, already amassing nine senior caps for the country of his mother.

Coming up through the Standard Liege youth academy, there were experiences at LOSC and Beerschot VA before returning to base this summer.

So far this season, Sahabo has made 15 competitive appearances for Standard Liege, playing in central midfield.

Tuttomercatoweb evaluate his price-tag to currently be around €6-7m.

There had also been interest from Eintracht Frankfurt and TSG Hoffenheim in the Bundesliga, as well as Leicester City in England, according to L’Avenir Sport.
