Maurizio Sarri says Thiago Motta can lead Juventus into a new era.

Bologna announced yesterday that Motta will be leaving the club at the end of the season.

Sarri says Motta and sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli, who he worked with at Napoli, will do great things for Juve.

The former Juve coach told Sportitalia: I think so, because Thiago is a strong coach who has ideas. Strong, he develops players, Cristiano is an absolute champion in his role. Competent, determined, tough, great ability in choosing players, managing and choosing a coach. A couple destined to grow and do very well.

Thiago Motta had a great season, great quality of football, a young and beautiful team. I would put him alongside Baroni, he is experiencing his second consecutive miracle, another extraordinary season in a difficult situation. At a media level there are coaches who are talked about a lot, others who are talked about little.

I don't know if Thiago will go to Juventus, it's a hypothesis. During his career he will coach teams of the highest level, he must try to remain as he is now, without bowing to the name of the club he is going to work for. He is intelligent, he knows what the characteristics of the way of playing football are."
