Saudi Arabia vs Uurguay was played at Miami Staidum and the match ended in a 1-1 draw with goals from Abdulelah Al Amri for Saudi Arabia and Maxi Araujo for Uruguay.

Just before halftime, Saudi Arabia would score the opener through a goal from defender Al Amri after a Muslera save would fall to the Saudi Arabian defender in the box. Al Amri would stick a foot out to roll the ball under Muslera and into the net.

In the second half, Uruguay head coach Marcelo Bielsa made two changes like Darwin Nunez and Matias Viña being take off for Juan Sanabria and Agustin Canobbio.

Uruguay would look even more dnagerous and dominated the second half. After multiple attempts, Uruguay's equalizer arrived in the 80th minute through a Maxi Araujo strike after a save from Al Owais fell to him.

The winners of the match was the Saudi Arabian defense, who managed mantain strong while Uruguay were pushing for an equalizer in the second half. Mohammed Al Owais remains to be a crucial figure for Saudi Arabia like he was in the previous World Cup.

The dissapointment was Uruguay's attack, which no longer has a defined striker that can help the team break through and convert the chances created.
