Torino have shaken hands with Al-Duhail to sell defender Saul Coco, but the player has not agreed personal terms and negotiations continue.

According to Sky Sport Italia, a deal was done for circa €16m and the two clubs are in full agreement for the transfer.

That would represent almost doubling the €8.23m plus bonuses that Torino paid to sign him from Las Palmas only a year ago, even if they still owe a 10 per cent cut of the future sell-on fee.

However, the 26-year-old centre-back is not particularly eager on the move to the Qatar Stars League and wants a huge salary before he will accept.

The talks are set to continue, but Saul Coco is not convinced right now that he will sign on for Al-Duhail, a club where former Lazio midfielder Luis Alberto is currently playing.

Coco made 34 appearances this season for Torino between Serie A and the Coppa Italia, also scoring two goals from defence.
