Savicevic admits to still watching Milan but having ‘changed the channel’ during recent game

Dejan Savicevic has admitted that he still likes to tune in to AC Milan games when he can, but he turned a recent game off in the first half because of the scoreline.

Savicevic started his career with hometown side Budućnost in then-Yugoslavia, bfore moving to Red Star Belgrade in 1988 where he became prominent part of the team that won the 1990–91 European Cup.

It was from there that he got a big move to Milan in 1992 and with the Rossoneri he won three Serie A titles and the 1993–94 UEFA Champions League, among other major honours. He would go back to Red Star before ending his career with two years at Rapid Wien.

Speaking on the YouTube channel of the journalist Gianluca Rossi , the former playmaker spoke about how he still follows Milan to this day despite his role as the President of the Federation of Montenegro.

“I follow them, but not as much as in the past years because I have to follow the football here. I think there is a lot of football on television now. Too much? Yes, in my opinion, yes. If I want I watch Milan or my players who play abroad like Marusic and Krstovic,” he said (via Radio Rossonera).

“I watched half an hour against Venezia and changed the channel, because it was already 3-0. I watched a couple of other games where we were winning and the match was already decided.
