Scott McTominay is one name that is recognised by Manchester United fans around the world for his famous moments and playing style.

The versatile player, who is now at Napoli following his permanent move to the club last summer, has many memorable moments for United including his last minute goal against Brentford in the Premier League.

But, since moving to Naples, the Scottish international has featured 52 times whilst scoring 18 goals in these clashes.

Meanwhile, as a result of his performances in the 2024-25 season, he was awarded the MVP award by Serie A and was honoured with a shrine in Naples for his ability to open up games.

As well as this, this season, the 28-year-old became the first Scottish player to score the first goal of a Serie A season whilst urging Napoli to sign out of favour United midfielder Kobbie Mainoo.

Now, following his performance against Denmark in which he was hailed for by the Scottish media, Scott McTominay has been honoured with a mural.

As seen in the image below, the mural reflects the 28-year-old’s overhead kick which opened the scoring for Scotland against Denmark at Hampden Park.

Furthermore, it is located in Paisley where McTominay is familiar with.

As well as this, it was created by Michael McMenemy and is located on Andrews Street specifically.

Now, with the mural created, it is clear to see the impact that the goal had on the football fans of Scotland.

Furthermore, with it complete, attention could turn towards Italy to see if McTominay reacts to the piece of art.

But, with a busy life at Napoli as the Naples outfit aim to retain the Serie A title, the chances of this occuring can be said to be small but not none.
