Inter have been waiting for Leicester City to send in an offer for Stefano Sensi, but talks have stalled and the midfielder is stuck waiting on a move.
Enzo Maresca, the head coach of the Foxes, recently admitted the club’s interest in the Italian midfielder, who has hardly featured under Simone Inzaghi this term, seeing just 65 minutes of action across four games.
Once an exciting figure at Inter, injuries have completely derailed Sensi’s career at the club, pushing him to spend time trying to recapture the magic on loan at Sampdoria and Monza.
As reported by TMW, Leicester contacted Inter last week to sound out a move for Sensi but still haven’t presented an offer yet, leaving the midfielder in limbo.
Maresca did hint towards financial limitations when discussing the Foxes’ interest in the Nerazzurri man, suggesting that an offer may not arrive until the latter stages of the January transfer window.
During his five-year spell attached to Inter, Sensi scored four goals and provided four assists across 56 appearances for the club.
