Sergi Canos finds positives in losing Valencia home debut

Sergi Canos was upbeat despite make a losing home debut for Valencia in defeat to Osasuna.

Canos was signed a fortnight ago from Brentford.

He later said: "I think we played a great game. The only had two shots on target and the last one was the last corner. There are a lot of positives to take from this game we have to keep working.

"The energy was fantastic, the ball was moving, we need more luck and we need to be more intense in the last actions."

On his debut at Mestalla, Canos added: "Amazing. The first minutes in Mestalla felt amazing, it's a bit sad because we lost the game but we need to keep going forward. The welcome from the fans has been fantastic and I hope I can give them something back during the season."
