Fiorentina are in crisis after fumbling a Rolando Mandragora lead, as Marc Oliver Kempf and Jayden Addai in stoppages turned it around for the Como victory.

The Viola were struggling after disappointing draws against Cagliari and Torino, followed by a 3-1 home defeat to Napoli. Moise Kean shook off flu symptoms, leaving only Christian Kouame out of action, as Tariq Lamptey got his first start in a move to the 4-4-2 formation. Como were coming off a 1-1 draw with Genoa, with Jacobo Ramon suspended following his red card, joining Ignace Van der Brempt and Assane Diao on the absentee list, so Diego Carlos got his debut.

See how it all unfolded on the Liveblog.

It did not take long to break the deadlock, as while Rolando Mandragora’s free kick smashed into the wall, he got it right on the rebound to arrow into the bottom corner. There was tension during the celebration, leading to a Mergim Vojvoda yellow card for a shove on Dodo.

Kean surged forward from midfield to fire over from a tricky angle, while Maxi Perrone’s free header was well over at the other end from Kuhn’s cross.

Fiorentina lost Lamptey just 21 minutes into his first Serie A start, as he landed awkwardly and hyper-extended the left knee, so gave youth team product Niccolò Fortini his Serie A debut instead.

Roberto Piccoli couldn’t keep his header on target and Kean was flagged offside when denied one-on-one by Jean Butez, while David De Gea made the save from the tightest of angles on Alvaro Morata sent through by Nico Paz.

In first half stoppages, Maxi Perrone went down after a nudge in the back from Hans Nicolussi Caviglia, which the referee considered worthy of a penalty. However, the decision was changed to a free kick when VAR ruled the push started outside the penalty area.

On the resulting free kick, the ball came to Diego Carlos for a chest and volley into the area, but he was offside.

After the restart, De Gea flew to palm a Sergi Roberto scorcher out from under the bar with one hand, while Dodo did just enough to put Tasos Douvikas off from tapping in the Jayden Addai assist from six yards.

Como eventually forced the equaliser when Nico Paz floated a free kick to the back post, finding Marc Oliver Kempf to steer the header back across the face of goal.

The visitors took more control as the game wore on, Jesus Rodriguez curling over the bar and De Gea parrying the Nico Paz strike.

Simon Sohm also fired wide on the counter-attack for Fiorentina, while Sergi Roberto scuffed the half-volley wide on a Douvikas lay-off.

Just as they seemed to be settling for a point apiece, Como turned it around in stoppages when Addai ran into the Nico Paz hopeful ball from midfield, cut inside from the right, twisted and turned against Marin Pongracic, then surprised De Gea at the base of the near post from the tightest of angles.
