Jadon Sancho is one of many Manchester United players to be currently out on loan at another club as he looks to build his career again following a difficult spell at United.
Sancho, who joined Aston Villa on loan at the end of last summer’s transfer window, scored his first goal for the club on Thursday evening against Fenerbahçe in the Europa League marking a major moment in his loan spell.
The goal also secured a top-eight finish for Villa, ensuring that the Premier League outfit will appear in the Europa League Round of 16 later this season.
However, prior to this, the 25-year-old had faced a large spell of controversy with him hacked in October whilst also being caught up an alleged drug scandal.
But, with him now looking to build on his first goal for Aston Villa, things can arguably only get better for Sancho.
Now, according to Corriere dello Sport, Napoli, who are looking to retain the Serie A title at the end of this season, are looking towards Jadon Sancho as a potential option.
The Naples outfit had previously been linked with a move for Sancho with the two parties even verbally agreeing on the terms for a move to Italy.
However, this deal fell through allowing the 25-year-old to complete his move to Aston Villa.
But, with new interest now revealed, the outfit could look to move for the former English international in the closing stages of the transfer window.
If they were to do this, it could help Napoli to improve their squad which could aid them in the pursuit of success in the closing months of the season.
However, it may also affect Villa’s squad and force them to turn towards other options that could be used to fill Sancho’s void.
