Tim Weah and Kenan Yildiz proved enough to give Juventus the Derby della Mole victory, but Torino have yet more injury problems to deal with.

The Bianconeri were coming off a midweek 1-1 Champions League draw with Lille, but missed Douglas Luiz, Nico Gonzalez, Arkadiusz Milik, Gleison Bremer and Adzic. Toro were struggling badly with five defeats in the last six rounds, interrupted by a 1-0 win over Como, losing Che Adams, Duvan Zapata, Zanos Savva, Perr Schuurs and Emirhan Ilkhan to injury.

See how it unfolded on the Liveblog.

Juventus took the lead with their first real chance, as Andrea Cambiaso sprinted down the left past two challenges to reach the by-line, testing Vanja Milinkovic-Savic with an angled drive that was only pushed into the path of Tim Weah’s tap-in.

Cambiaso also fired over after another strong run and Dusan Vlahovic shot straight at the goalkeeper after shaking off Saul Coco.

A free kick routine released Teun Koopmeiners to shoot from the edge of the box, charged down by Coco’s chest, and the Dutchman had a similar outcome on the Cambiaso pull-back.

Karol Linetty had an effort blocked by Pierre Kalulu as Toro came out fighting after the restart, despite losing Ivan Ilic to a muscular problem.

Weah had the ball in the net for a second time on 71 minutes, but he accidentally controlled the Koopmeiners pass with his hand before drilling into the far bottom corner.

Francisco Conceicao shaved a coat of paint off the far top corner with his left-foot curler from the edge of the area. The Portuguese talent created the second goal moments later, sprinting away down the right before floating a cross to the back post for the Kenan Yildiz diving header. The Turkey international always celebrates by sticking his tongue out in tribute to his hero, Alex Del Piero, who turns 50 today.
