Defending champions Napoli find themselves in a mid-table battle as an ambitious Genoa travel south for their Saturday afternoon Serie A clash.
The match between the Partenopei and the Rossoblu kicks off at 14.00 UK time at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona in Napoli.
Walter Mazzarri’s Napoli have only won two of their last seven league matches, falling to Milan in a tough 1-0 loss last weekend. The run leaves the Scudetto holders 10th in the Serie A table after 23 matches, seven points behind fourth place Atalanta.
The Partenopei almost have a fully fit squad for their clash with Genoa, only unable to rely heavily on star striker Victor Osimhen, who just returned from the Africa Cup of Nations. Juan Jesus is also out with a suspension.
Alberto Gilardino’s Genoa have looked confident and ambitious in their first season back in Serie A, losing just one of their last nine consecutive league games, holding league leaders Inter to a 1-1 draw.
The Rossoblu are without the injured Alan Matturro and Ridgeciano Haps is also in doubt.
When Napoli and Genoa met back in September, the two sides shared a point apiece in a 2-2 draw after goals from Mattia Bani, Mateo Retegui, Giacomo Raspadori and Matteo Politano.
Napoli (4-3-3): Meret; Di Lorenzo, Rrahmani, Natan, Mario Rui; Anguissa, Lobotka, Zielinski; Politano, Simeone, Kvaratskhelia.
Genoa (3-5-2): Martinez; De Winter, Bani, Vasquez; Sabelli, Malinovskyi, Badelj, Frendrup, Spence; Gudmundsson, Retegui.
