Check out today’s most relevant updates regarding Serie A clubs, including Federico Chiesa skipping Juventus training due to mild flu and Milan searching for a new CEO.

A new Serie A round is just around the corner and there have been several updates and team news coming from the teams’ training camps.

Serie A team news – Juventus, Inter, Milan, Roma and more

Juventus star Chiesa didn’t train with his teammates on Thursday due to a mild flu, but he is expected to be available on Sunday when the Bianconeri host Fiorentina at the Allianz Stadium in Turin. Arkadiusz Milik continued working separately and could return to action in two weeks against Torino, Football Italia understands.

There was good news from Pinetina for Inter as Austria international Marko Arnautovic completed a full training session with the rest of the team and is expected to return to action on Sunday against Udinese.

Simon Kjaer also trained with his Milan teammates at Milanello and is expected to be available against Lecce on Saturday. The same is true of Luka Jovic and Ismael Bennacer, who have recovered from the flu. On the other hand, Ruben Loftus-Cheek will be suspended for the Rossoneri.

A report from TMW suggests the Diavoli are also considering hiring Damien Comolli as their new CEO, which would push Giorgio Furlani, who is currently covering the same position, into a new role at the club.

Elsewhere at Napoli, strikers Cyril Ngonge and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia continued training separately on Thursday.

Latest team news for Rome derby

Roma trained at Trigoria, and Daniele De Rossi will have all players available for Saturday’s derby della Capitale against Lazio, except for the injured Sardar Azmoun.

According to Sky Sport Italia, Lazio’s Mattia Zaccagni will miss the match after sustaining an ankle injury that will force him to the sidelines for at least three weeks. Nicolò Rovella, Ivan Provedel, Luca Pellegrini and Manuel Lazzari are also out of action for the Aquile.
