Fiorentina fell to a third consecutive Serie A defeat, as Hellas Verona made their pressure count in stoppages, but there was a scare with Moise Kean stretchered off.

The Viola were coming off back-to-back defeats to Inter and Como, with Kean returning from suspension, but Robin Gosens banned instead. Albert Gudmundsson, Andrea Colpani and Yacine Adli were still out of action. Hellas had Domagoj Bradaric suspended with Casper Tengstedt, Suat Serdar, Martin Frese and Abdou Harroui injured.

See how it unfolded on the Liveblog.

Michael Folorunsho stood up a cross for Kean in the fourth minute, the header forcing a tough save from point-blank range, while Nicolò Zaniolo couldn’t get much power on an almost identical move.

Amin Sarr stung David De Gea’s gloves from distance with a sudden dipping strike, while Kean scuffed the finish on a Zaniolo pull-back from the right.

Zaniolo was both offside and prodded it over from point-blank range after an acrobatic Folorunsho flick on.

Verona came out fighting for the second half, Pietro Comuzzo preventing the Marco Davide Faraoni reaching Sarr, then Dailon Livramento’s angled drive flashed across the face of goal.

Kean needed stitches on the side of the pitch after being left with a cut to his eyebrow in an accidental three-way collision.

Luca Ranieri threw himself in the path of a Sarr’s strike on the Suslov assist, but Kean was visibly struggling and practically fainted a couple of minutes after coming back on. Medics eventually stretchered him off with a neck brace for added security and he was taken to a local hospital for tests.

Pawel Dawidowicz nodded another Faraoni cross just past the far post, while Daniel Mosquera failed to connect his diving header to the Jackson Tchatchoua assist.

Comuzzo made another decisive defensive block to stop the tap-in on one more Tchatchoua low cross from the left, while Montipò rushed off his line to smother at the feet of Zaniolo.

Verona finally made all their pressure count deep into stoppages when Pablo Mari slid in to intercept the Mosquera through ball, but the ricochet took it into the path of Antoine Bernede, shrugging off Comuzzo to slide past on-rushing De Gea.
