Shevchenko urges Chelsea fans to be patient with Mudryk

Former Chelsea star Andriy Shevchenko has faith Mykhaylo Mudryk can show his best qualities.

Shevchenko, who enjoyed his best footballing years at AC Milan, struggled to adapt to the Premier League later in his career.

However, the Ukrainian believes that his countryman Mudryk is in a different situation, given the latter is only 22.

He's very young, he has a lot of potential in the future," the AC Milan legend told Goal.

"He's signed a very long contract with Chelsea, we should see how it's going at the end of his contract with them."

Mudryk has come in for a lot of criticism in recent months, even for his international displays.
