Sir David Beckham has taken another major step in his remarkable business career, with the Manchester United legend continuing to build his global influence beyond football.

Few players have left a greater mark on Old Trafford than Beckham, whose extraordinary passing, pinpoint crosses and spectacular free-kicks made him one of football’s most recognisable figures.

A graduate of United’s famous Class of ’92, Beckham helped Sir Alex Ferguson’s side win six Premier League titles, two FA Cups and the historic 1999 Champions League.

His two corners in the unforgettable final against Bayern Munich helped complete the Treble, cementing his place in United folklore.

Beckham subsequently represented Real Madrid, LA Galaxy, AC Milan and Paris Saint-Germain before retiring in 2013.

Since then, the former England captain has become a successful businessman, co-owning Inter Miami and developing partnerships with major international brands.

He was recently linked with another Netflix project, demonstrating how his commercial influence continues to grow.

Sir David Beckham officially partners with NBA

According to an official NBA announcement on Monday, Beckham’s health and nutrition company IM8 has agreed a multiyear partnership with the basketball organisation.

IM8 will become the NBA’s Official Nutrition Partner across Australia and eight Southeast Asian markets, including Singapore, Thailand and Malaysia.

The agreement brings Beckham’s business into partnership with one of the world’s biggest sporting organisations, whose international reach extends across more than 200 countries and territories.

The announcement was made in Hong Kong, with Beckham joined by IM8 co-founder Danny Yeung and two-time NBA champion Chris Bosh.

Under the agreement, IM8 will launch NBA-themed marketing campaigns and fan engagement initiatives, including an activation at NBA House in 2027.

The company’s ambassadors already include NBA superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo, further strengthening its basketball connections.

For Beckham, knighted in 2025, the collaboration represents another significant commercial milestone.

More than two decades after leaving Manchester United, his reputation continues to open doors far beyond football.
