Italy coach Luciano Spalletti has decided to call up six Inter Milan players for his provisional Euro 2024 squad.

The former Roma, Napoli and Inter coach revealed the 30-year-old list on Thursday. He will then have to cut four players when unveiling the final 26-man list that will head to Germany.

The prestigious will take place between June 14th and July 14.

The Azzurri will enter the competition as the defending champions having beaten England in the final of the previous edition at Wembley. Speaking of the iconic stadium, you can still get yourself tickets to the FA Cup Final between Man City and Man United by following the link.

As most fans and observers expected, the Nerazzurri had the bigger contingent in the Italy squad.

Alessandro Bastoni makes for an obvious choice in the backline. The 25-year-old will also link up with Francesco Acerbi.

The latter was sent home the last time Italy held camp due to racial abuse allegations made by Napoli defender Juan Jesus.

Nevertheless, sporting justice found the veteran centre-back not guilty, so Spalletti opted to welcome him back to the fold.

Moreover, the versatile Matteo Darmian also earned a call-up. The 34-year-old can occupy various roles between the backline and wings. Therefore, he would be a useful addition to the squad.

For his part, Federico Dimarco will likely be Italy’s first choice on the left flank
