Bayern Munich are still very interested in signing Theo Hernandez from AC Milan and the French defender is interested in the move if an offer were to arrive.

As reported by Florian Plettenberg of Sky Germany on X, the French left-back is viewed by Bayern as the ideal replacement for Alphonso Davies should the Canadian depart.

Davies has been heavily linked with a move to Real Madrid as they want to replace Ferland Mendy, so Bayern’s interest in Hernandez has been longstanding.

It would present an opportunity for the Milan star to play alongside his brother, Lucas Hernandez. Despite Bayern not currently having a new coach, Hernandez is said to be interested in the idea.

That being said, there is no agreement between Hernandez and Bayern on terms, and there is no agreement between Milan and Bayern for the player.

There has also not been an offer from Real Madrid for Davies, so there is certainly no imminent risk of Milan losing one of their best players. if Real Madrid make a move for Davies, it could set off a fast chain of events, though.

Losing Hernandez would be a big sporting blow but he would also fetch a very big transfer fee that can be reinvested.
