Slovenian Wonderkid Shines In Lumezzane 1-2 Inter Milan U23 Serie A Victory

Luka Topalovic delivered another sumptuous performance as Inter Milan U23 pulled off a 2-1 win at Lumezzane on Sunday.

According to FCInter1908, the 19-year-old bossed the midfield at the Tullio Saleri Stadium, showing maturity beyond his age.

New boss Stefano Vecchi continues to make strides in Serie C.

Indeed, Inter Milan’s U23 side posted their fourth win in seven league matches this season, climbing to fourth in the standings.

Much credit goes to Luka Topalovic, who’s enjoying a superb campaign.

Topalovic refused to rest on his laurels after making the ‘Team of the Week’ last weekend.

Instead, the prodigious midfielder continues to demonstrate his rich potential in Italy’s third-tier competition.

Yesterday, he set up Matteo Spinacce for the opening goal before drawing a game-defining red card.

Lumezzane’s defenders gave the Slovenian starlet hard treatment, yet their brutal approach took its toll midway through the first half.

Topalovic, who made way for Issiaka Kamate in the 58th minute, forced Fabrizio Paghera’s expulsion early in the game.
