Sparta Rotterdam Reach Agreement to Sign Redundant Lazio Full Back Durmisi

Unneeded Lazio full back Riza Durmisi is only a step away from joining Eredivisie side Sparta Rotterdam on loan.

As reported by Italian media outlet TuttoMercatoWeb last night, Biancocelesti sporting director Igli Tare has been in talks with the Dutch side for a few days regarding a possible loan deal for the 28-year-old Danish full back, who has not been registered for the league by the Roman club this season.

An agreement was reportedly reached last night between Lazio and Sparta Rotterdam and now Durmisi’s transfer to the Eredivisie side is only a step away from being fully finalised.

Lazio are working hard on their outgoing transfer market in the final days of the window, with Denis Vavro joining FC Copenhagen earlier this week and Jony on the verge of joining Sporting Gijon. Vedat Muriqi is also close to completing his move to Mallorca, although he was still present in Formello today.
