'Special player' in talks with Tottenham over summer move, could face competition from rivals

Real Madrid attacker Rodrygo Goes has been linked with a move away from the Spanish club this summer, and Tottenham Hotspur are keen on him.

According to Ramon Alvarez de Mon, the 24-year-old Brazilian is currently in talks with Tottenham over a summer move. However, he has not yet decided on his future. He’s waiting to see if Liverpool decides to make a move for him.

The player is unlikely to receive regular gametime at the Spanish club, and it would be ideal for him to move on and join a new club where he can be a regular starter.

Spurs could use the Brazilian

Spurs need a versatile attacker like him, and he could prove to be an exceptional acquisition. Apart from his quality as a footballer, his winning experience could prove to be vital as well. He has won major trophies at Real Madrid, and Tottenham could use his winning experience.

He is capable of slotting in centrally as well as on the flanks. He will look to score consistently and create opportunities for his teammates as well.

The player is unlikely to be a cheap acquisition, and Real Madrid could demand a premium for him. He is likely to command top wages as well.

Rodrygo would be an asset

The player is highly rated across Europe, and Xabi Alonso has recently labelled him as a “special player”. He has all the tools to develop into a quality performer in the Premier League, and he could establish himself as a world-class player with the right guidance.

Liverpool would be an excellent opportunity for him as well. They have recently won the Premier League title, and they could be an attractive destination for most players. It will be interesting to see if Tottenham can beat them to his signature.

They need top-quality players to fight for major trophies, and the Brazilian would be an exceptional investment.
