Former Celtic defender Steven Pressley is under pressure after just two games as Dundee boss. The ex-Hearts captain was named Dundee Head Coach in the summer, replacing Tony Docherty, but after just two games is facing questions about his future.

The 51-year-old, recently left his role as head of player development at Brentford, has lost his first two games losing 1-0 at home to Airdrie and then a 1-0 away defeat to Alloa Athletic.

Supporters are less than impressed suggesting that Pressley should never have been appointed in the first place. Pressley’s relationship with Strachan had been suggested as a potential connection to take the former defender to Dens.

Celtic signed Pressley from Hearts in 2007, where he would spend 18 months and win two leagues and a Scottish Cup. Pressley has experience in the league with Falkirk but has had his credentials questioned by the Dundee support, especially with a number of candidates available.
