Stormzy leaks new Manchester United kit

Manchester United have already released one of their 2026/27 shirts, which they wore in their final game of the 2025/26 season at Old Trafford.

The Red Devils’ home kit for the next campaign takes inspiration from the iconic kits worn by the club during the 1970s and brings back several retro features, including a classic red base at the centre of the shirt, the return of a polo collar, and black accents, giving the shirt a more traditional feel.

Now, over two months after the home shirt’s release, the Red Devils look set to launch their next kit, 33 days out from the dawn of a new Premier League season.

Well-known Manchester United fan and British rapper Stormzy has leaked a new shirt on his Instagram story, fit with the caption “@ManUtd you’ve seen it here first”.

The shirt is royal blue, fitted with darker wavy stripes that become clear to see when seeing the shirt close-up.

The leak comes with Stormzy wearing a white jacket over it, suggesting he may have been part of a kit launch video.

In that case, it means the leak will likely have been sanctioned by Adidas and Manchester United – meaning a release will come in the near future.

It’s a smart shirt, and one that Red Devils fans will hope is worn in some classic European nights away from Old Trafford. With UEFA Champions League football secured in the 2026/27 campaign, Manchester United will be hoping to aim for a first sight of the trophy in eighteen years.

Michael Carrick’s side played their first pre-season friendly on Saturday, and United fans will surely see the Red Devils wear their new strip once it’s released soon.
