Bundesliga side Stuttgart have shown interest in three different AC Milan defenders which could factor into the negotiations for Serhou Guirassy.

As has been reported by Corriere dello Sport (via Milan News), Stuttgart are interested in Jan-Carlo Simic, Pierre Kalulu and Malick Thiaw.

There seems to be lots to discuss between the two clubs as Milan are working hard to sign Guirassy from the German side, and the Rossoneri have also shown interest in Japanese defender Hiroki Ito.

Guirassy has got a €17.5m release clause which is very low considering he has scored 28 league goals this season. Milan may have to pay more than that though to keep Stuttgart happy.

The main problem for Milan’s pursuit of Guirassy is the €5m salary that the Guinean 28-year-old would demand. That would make him one of the highest earners in the squad.

There have already been reports that Simic could be included in a deal for Guirassy, but it is not clear how a player like Thiaw would be involved given Milan would want a much higher fee for the German than Guirassy would cost.

Kalulu has struggled with injury this season and it would not be a shock for Milan to use him in negotiations.
