According to Sky Sport Italia, the eventual cost of the Nottingham Forest deal for Bologna forward Dan Ndoye will reach at least €49m.

Multiple sources are confident the agreement has been reached, leaving behind Napoli whose maximum proposal was €35m plus €5m in add-ons.

Nottingham Forest blew that offer out of the water, but the exact details are still a little unclear.

Some reports had put the figure at €40m plus €3m in add-ons and a percentage of the sell-on fee.

Ndoye value has quintupled

Now Sky Sport Italia transfer pundit Gianluca Di Marzio puts it at far more, specifically €42m as a fixed fee, plus add-ons and 20 per cent of the sell-on fee.

This is a very large chunk of any future sale and there is an additional extra clause along with it.

That is that if Nottingham Forest do not sell Ndoye on by a certain date, they will hand over a fee of €7m to Bologna instead.

It all means the total fee should reach €49m as a minimum, a huge profit considering Bologna only purchased the Switzerland international from FC Basel in 2023 for €10.15m plus €2m in add-ons.
