Team’s Up – CCV, Johnston & Tilio start for Celtic

Brendan Rodgers has named his Celtic team for this evening’s pre-season friendly against Ah-Ahli in Como. The sides meet as part of the Como Cup in the third placed playoff.

Celtic fans will be pleased to see Cameron Carter-Vickers starting while Alistair Johnston gets his first minutes of the pre-season.

Vil Sinisalo starts in goals.

CCV and Auston Trusty start in the central pairing. Trusty was MOTM against Newcastle and will be hoping to continue this impressive form with a view to regaining his starting place next weekend. AJ is at right back while Inamura starts at left back. Carter-Vickers captains the side.

Paulo Bernardo starts in the holding role with Arne Engels and Luke McCowan.

In attack, Johnny Kenny starts through the middle with James Forrest and Marco Tilio.
