Martin O’Neill has made three changes to the Celtic starting XI to the team that beat FC Utrecht on Thursday night in the Europa League…

Recent arrivals Julian Araujo and Tomas Cvancara return after being ineligible in the European match while Dane Murray steps in to cover Auston Trusty who is suspended after his appeal against that Tynecastle red card was dismissed by the Scottish FA’s appeal panel.

Kasper Schmeichel will be in goals with the Celtic defence consisting of Julian Araujo, Dane Murray, Liam Scales and Kieran Tierney.

In the middle of the park the Celtic captain Callum McGregor will be joined by Arne Engels and Benjamin Nygren who is the top scorer at the club in his first season at Celtic.

The front three will be Yang on the right, Cvancara through the middle and Daizen Maeda playing on the left wing.

On the bench for Celtic today are Sinisalo; Ralston, Donovan, Welsh, McCowan, Bernardo, Hatate, Forrest, Iheanacho and Tounekti.

Meanwhile David Dickinson will referee the Celtic v Falkirk match in the Scottish Premiership on this afternoon at Celtic Park while Andrew Dallas will be on VAR duties.

Dickinson will be assisted by David Roome and Chris Rae while Andrew Dallas over at Clydesdale House will have Frank Connor assisting him in his VAR duties.

Falkirk arrive in good form looking to take their first points off the Champions this season. Manager John McGlynn noted that the absence of the Green Brigade is a major positive for his side, something that is obvious to everyone except Celtic’s inept CEO Michael Nicholson- the guy who appointed Wilfried Nancy to the Celtic job.

Nancy lasted just 33 days and dropped a dozen points in a title race where Celtic now trail leaders Hearts by NINE points going into today’s 3pm kickoff.
