Striker Francesco Pio Esposito will once again be in the Inter Milan starting eleven in their Club World Cup match against Fluminense.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews.

Inter Milan striker Francesco Pio Esposito has really broken out in the last few weeks.

Having enjoyed a stellar campaign on loan with Spezia last season, Pio Esposito has gotten his chance with Inter at the Club World Cup.

And the 20-year-old striker has grabbed it with both hand.

Pio Esposito came off the bench against Urawa Red Diamonds last weekend. He assisted the stoppage time winner.

Then, Pio Esposito made his first ever senior start for Inter against River Plate. And he was Inter’s outstanding performer, capping off his display with the decisive opening goal in a 2-0 win.

According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, meanwhile, Francesco Pio Esposito will soon get another opportunity to shine.

Inter take on Brazilian side Fluminense in the round of sixteen. That match will take place this Monday.

And the Gazzetta report that Pio Esposito will be in the Inter starting eleven once again.

The 20-year-old will lead the line alongside Nerazzurri captain Lautaro Martinez.

Marcus Thuram should be back fit and available. However, the Frenchman will hardly be ready to come straight back into the starting eleven.
