Ten Hag hails ‘best supporters in the world’ in rallying message to the Old Trafford faithful post-match

Erik ten Hag addressed the Manchester United faithful directly with a rallying message on the Old Trafford turf following tonight’s win.

The Red Devils battled for a hard-earned three points against Newcastle United in their penultimate Premier League match, which also marked their final home outing of the campaign.

Goals from Kobbie Mainoo, Amad Diallo and Rasmus Hojlund saw United reign victorious despite a late scare in the form of Lewis Hall making it 3-2 in the early stages of injury time.

“As you know, it wasn’t an easy season, but one thing remained constant, and that was the backing of you for the team.

“But this season is not over yet. First, at Brighton, we go for three points again, and then we go to Wembley.

“I promise you that those players will give everything. Everything to end it good, to win the cup and bring it to Old Trafford.

“And we are sure that you will be there, supporting us. Thank you for being the best supporters in the world. Thank you!”
