While his agent might continue to deny reports of interest in taking over at Roma next season, Erik ten Hag still visited the club’s training ground today and dined with Claudio Ranieri.

The Giallorossi are looking for a new coach, as Ranieri completely revitalised the squad since his appointment in October 2024, but he intends to go back into retirement at the end of the season.

Rumours began to swirl yesterday when Ten Hag was spotted in the stands of the Stadio Olimpico to watch Roma’s 1-1 draw against Juventus last night.

Ten Hag spending a lot of time with Roma

The former Manchester United manager’s agent has repeatedly denied reports that he is being lined up for the Roma role.

However, the Dutchman continues to spend time in the Eternal City and today was at the club’s Trigoria training ground, where he posed with players including his ex-Ajax full-back Devyne Rensch.

The tactician and Rensch share the same agent, Mo Salem, who published this photograph of the trio together on Instagram Stories today.

According to Retesport , Ten Hag also had dinner with coach Ranieri and defender Mats Hummels last night.
