Outlets in Italy are reporting that Theo Hernandez has agreed a set of personal terms and has given his approval over a lucrative move to Saudi Pro League side Al-Hilal, despite his having rejected their initial approach earlier this month.
According to reports from Alfredo Pedulla, Gianluca Di Marzio and Sky Sport Italia , Theo Hernandez has now ‘said yes’ to Simone Inzaghi’s Al-Hilal, which could bring the end of his six-year spell with the Rossoneri.
Theo has reportedly been offered a multi-year contract worth around €20m per season in wages, which has increased from the €18m-per-season offer that he rejected earlier in the month.
This is after a direct approach from Al-Hilal President Fahad bin Nafel.
Theo had already informed Milan that he was inclined to accept Al-Hilal’s offer earlier on Monday.
The two clubs still need to come to an agreement over a transfer fee, though.
Milan had been ready to accept the €30m offer that Al-Hilal had put on the table earlier in the month, but now, with an increased offer on personal terms to Theo, the Rossoneri may be offered a fee slightly lower than the original €30m bid.
Monday’s reports claim that a figure in the region of €25m is to be expected from Al-Hilal, while Milan will push for a fee closer to the original €30m mark.
