Tottenham Hotspur striker Richarlison has been linked with a move away from the club in recent months.

The 27-year-old has not been able to live up to the expectations since the £60 million move from Everton. His performances have been inconsistent, and he has struggled with injury problems this season. It would be ideal for him to leave the London club. The player could use a fresh start as well.

Richarlison has 20 goals and 10 assists for Tottenham in 86 appearances.

Meanwhile, Tottenham need to bring in a reliable attacker in the summer, and it will be interesting to see if they can replace the Brazilian adequately.

Richarlison wants an exit

Meanwhile, journalist Ben Jacobs has confirmed to Give Me Sport that the player will look to secure an exit from the London club in the coming months.

“There is no doubt that Richarlison is going to be looking for a move this summer. Saudi Arabia are interested, with Al-Ahli trying in the past. But my understanding is that Everton are reticent on Richarlison because of the injury record and the price that Tottenham are asking for.

“It’s not going to be quite as high from Tottenham’s perspective as last summer, when the number was £60million or no business, but Richarlison is still valued by Tottenham in the region of £40million to £45million. That’s probably going to be prohibitive as far as Everton are concerned.”

Return to Everton on the cards?

It will be interesting to see if Richarlison can secure a move back to his former club. He played some of his best football at Everton, and returning to his comfort zone could be ideal for him.

Meanwhile, Tottenham have been linked with multiple strikers in recent weeks, and they need to improve the attacking unit. They need someone who can share the goalscoring burden with Dominic Solanke.

It has been a disappointing season for Tottenham, and they need quality players to bounce back.
