Since signing Mohamed Salah in 2017, Liverpool's front three has been one of the best attacks in the world.

Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino make up the other two members of the famous trio that have scored what seems like hundreds of goals.

Breaking into the team has been one of the hardest things for forwards who sign for Liverpool.

However, one player who has successfully breached the famous trio is Portuguese winger Diogo Jota.

Jota signed for Liverpool in 2020 from Wolves for a reported fee of £45million, a free that made some fans weary original.

Despite the fee, Jurgen Klopp and Michael Edwards have been proved right once again in their unusual recruitment tactics.

Jota has slotted right in and since the start of the season, the 24-year-old has displaced Roberto Firmino in the starting XI.

Speaking about playing with the front three though, Jota says it's a pleasure to play with Mo, Sadio and Roberto.

“They are world-class players and I am very happy to be able to play with them. I feel like we are still developing our connections on the field and I think we can improve on that but that develops with game-time and facing different opponents together.

“But hopefully, along with Bobby Firmino, as a front four we can get a lot of goals this season if we do the right things."
