Tottenham supporters are gearing up to make their presence felt long before a ball is kicked in Sunday’s North London Derby, with plans in place for a major tifo display at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. With just days to go until Spurs face the league leaders, the atmosphere is already building around what feels like one of the most important derbies in recent memory.
The stakes are huge. Tottenham sit uncomfortably close to the relegation zone, and a win would not only create breathing space but also land a serious dent in Arsenal’s title charge.
In a season that has swung wildly between frustration and disbelief, this is a chance to flip the narrative, at least for a week. Newly appointed head coach Igor Tudor, from what we heard from him, is likely to play all guns blazing against the Gunners.
THFC Flags have confirmed that a large-scale tifo will greet the players as they walk out. The exact design is under wraps, but hints suggest the word “forever” will feature prominently. It does not take much imagination to see where this might be heading. Arsenal fans belt out “North London forever” despite the club’s roots in Woolwich, and Spurs supporters may well be planning a pointed reminder about who truly belongs in N17.

If that proves to be the theme, it would tap directly into the identity and pride that has always defined this rivalry. Tottenham’s connection to North London is historical. It is geography. And most importantly, IT IS CULTURE.
This will be the first major fan-led display at home since the Europa League semi-final against Bodo/Glimt last May, and there is a sense that supporters want to reset the tone. Under Thomas Frank, calls for unity often rang hollow as performances stagnated and tensions rose. Now, under Tudor, there is at least a window for renewed belief.
The message is simple. The noise, the colour and the defiance from the stands need to see themselves matched on the pitch. If the tifo sets the tone, the players must carry it through 90 minutes.
We’ve to find all possible ways and means to get three points. First, it will help us steer a wee bit clear off the Drop Zone, and, more importantly, it will derail Arsenal’s campaign. COYS.
