Highlights
During this October international break, the England national team are preparing for friendly at home to Wales on Thursday, and a World Cup qualifier away to Latvia in Riga on Tuesday.
Should England take all three points against Latvia, and Serbia fail to win either of their two games during this window, The Three Lions will confirm their spot at the World Cup finals in North America next summer.
In the build up to the friendly with Wales, Tuchel has been speaking to the German media about his captain and talisman, Harry Kane: "He's undoubtedly the best striker of his generation. He has reached a new level and is now scoring two goals per game.
He's on a roll; you can feel he's full of confidence and can easily carry Bayern and England on his shoulders. He's at his best, and I'm happy to have him as captain."
During their time at Bayern together, Kane scored 44 goals and provided 12 assists in 45 games, winning the European golden boot with 36 Bundesliga goals during the 23/24 season. Kane scored a goal every 89 minutes under Tuchel at Bayern, the best scoring rate of his entire career.
It is clear that any slight doubts over Kane's future as the England number nine post Euro 2024 were vanished the moment Tuchel took charge. Since he took over as national team manager, Kane has started all six games, including a friendly vs Senegal, and two qualifiers against Andorra. He has scored in five of the six games, with the second Andorra game being the exception.
As for Tuchel calling Kane the best striker of his generation - high praise indeed. Particularly when you look at some of the names that have played in the same generation. But deep down, it might be hard to argue.
With the England captain, the numbers speak for themselves. 213 Premier League goals, 73 Bundesliga goals already, 74 for the national team. But, he is so much more than that. He is an incredible playmaker, and - alongside his golden boot - had the most assists in the 20/21 Premier League season.
Although often criticised for doing so, when Kane drops into deeper areas, he is able to find team mates with pinpoint passes, especially to runners in behind. He is also a very hard working player who tracks back, and is a very good asset to have when defending set pieces and sometimes your own box in general.
Furthermore, he doesn't always require the service to score. He is capable of creating his own chances, and is very good at scoring goals from outside of the box. His low driven finish into the bottom corner against Frankfurt went viral last week, with a sublime angle from behind the play.
So, how many other players can score at the rate Kane does, whilst creating at the rate Kane does, and working as hard as Kane does? Very few, if any, one would imagine.
An incredible player, who has been doing this for over 11 years now. Maybe one day he will get the respect he deserves.
