AC Milan are heading into a very important summer and no player within the squad is absolutely certain of staying at the club for 2024-25, a report claims.

According to Tuttosport (via MilanNews), a lot of the attention will be on the next head coach and the signings that arrive but there will be some interesting departures too and the main suspects are Mike Maignan, Theo Hernandez and Rafael Leao.

The reason is simple: they are the ones who have the greatest number of suitors, on paper. The two French duo have contracts expiring in 2026 and are asking for an increase up to €8m net per season, which is even more than what Leao earns.

For Milan, they saw Leao’s renewal as an exception to their pre-established salary ceiling so that presents problems in the renewals of Theo and Maignan, with Bayern Munich pressing to sign both.

Looking at the defensive group, Fikayo Tomori is slightly more valuable than Pierre Kalulu and Malick Thiaw, but according to the paper at least one of the three could depart.

The same goes for the midfield with one or two of Ismael Bennacer, Yacine Adli and Tommaso Pobega at risk of being sold for the right offer. In short, there could be a fair bit of turnover.
