Torino have reportedly agreed terms for two Empoli players following their relegation, picking up Ardian Ismajli for free and Tino Anjorin.
According to Sky Sport Italia, a deal has been reached with both the club and attacking midfielder Anjorin to complete the transfer.
The 23-year-old former Under-20 England international had been linked with numerous sides since Empoli’s relegation, including Fiorentina, Bologna and Roma.
He would seem to be heading for Torino, where he is seen as the replacement for Milan-bound Samuele Ricci.
The Tuscans will have to give half the fee over to his previous club Chelsea, as part of the agreement sealed when he made the move for free in 2024.
Anjorin had many injury problems this season and only made 22 Serie A appearances, but still contributed two goals and three assists in that time.
Meanwhile, Torino had already agreed personal terms with Ismajli, who is a free agent after his contract was allowed to run down.
They were keeping him on hold until Saul Coco’s departure, although that seems to have been stalled by his difficulties agreeing terms with Al-Duhail.
