Tottenham keeping tabs on Olympiacos starlet Charalampos Kostoulas

Tottenham Hotspur’s season hasn’t gone as planned under Ange Postecoglou. They have been awful for large parts, losing an astonishing 15 games in the Premier League. As a result, Ange Postecoglou and Co. find themselves 14th in the table.

Now out of all domestic competitions, the North Londoners’ only hope for silverware lies in the Europa League. A major squad revamp in the summer transfer window seems very much on the cards.

Now, according to an exclusive report from CaughtOffside, Tottenham are among several Premier League clubs to be keeping a close eye on highly-rated Olympiacos forward Charalampos Kostoulas ahead of the summer. Aston Villa are understood to be leading the race for the teenager, who is also wanted by Arsenal, Chelsea and Nottingham Forest.

Charalampos Kostoulas, a rising talent in Greek football, came through the Olympiacos youth system and has quickly established himself as one of the senior team’s standout performers this season. The teenager has racked up six goals and an assist in 21 league appearances, and his overall performances have caught the attention of plenty of clubs across Europe.

Having already been on Tottenham’s radar since 2024, the Hotspur Way scouts are perhaps now looking to intensify their interest in bagging Kostoulas’ signature this summer. The aforementioned report adds Olympiacos have no interest in selling the teenage prodigy, yet if interest intensifies they would demand as much as €30m for the versatile forward.

Kostoulas looks like he has an exciting future ahead of him, and it seems just a matter of time before he leaves for greener, bigger pastures. The Greek giants would certainly struggle to keep hold of him for long, given the manner in which he has been developing under Jose Luis Mendilibar. They have positioned themselves in a strong negotiating position by committing him to a new deal June 30, 2030 (Transfermarkt).

Known for his dynamic style of play, Kostoulas primarily operates in a central role but has also stepped in on the right when needed. The Greek youngster is far from the finished product but has bags of potential to make a difference in the Premier League. Ideally, Tottenham will do well to land him next summer and loan him out for a season to develop further.

And for that to happen, the Spurs officials have to start laying the groundwork. As Villa are currently leading the race, Daniel Levy and Co. have work to do to convince the Olympiacos talent of our project at N17.
