Tottenham handed boost in their pursuit of manager hailed as 'outstanding' by Postecoglou

Tottenham Hotspur have recently been linked with a move for the Fulham manager Marco Silva.

After a disappointing season, they are looking to find a quality replacement for Ange Postecoglou, and the 47-year-old has popped up on their radar. He has done an impressive job with Fulham this season, and it is no surprise that top clubs are keen on him.

Fulham want to hold on to their manager

Fulham want to keep him at the club for the long term, and they have offered him a new contract. Silva is entering the final 12 months of his contract soon, and a report from TBR Football claims that he has turned down the offer of a renewal from Fulham.

The development will come as a major boost for Tottenham, and they will certainly fancy their chances of getting the deal done. It remains to be seen whether they can secure an agreement to appoint him as their next manager.

Marco Silva could be a quality appointment

Silva has shown his quality in the Premier League over the years, and there is no doubt that he is good enough to manage a big club like Tottenham. Postecoglou has previously hailed him as an “outstanding manager”.

Postecoglou has not been able to deliver the goods, and it is no surprise that Tottenham want to show him the door in the summer. It will be interesting to see if Silva can get the best out of the Tottenham team next season.

The opportunity to manage Tottenham will be quite exciting for him. The 47-year-old will look to work with top-quality players and push for trophies. Spurs certainly have an ambitious project and a talented squad. With the right managerial appointment, they could bounce back strongly next season.
