Tottenham Hotspur has been offered the chance to sign Kim Min-jae from Bayern Munich during the summer transfer window.
According to a report from TBR Football, the player has been offered to multiple Premier League clubs. Tottenham have been linked with the 28-year-old in the past, and it remains to be seen whether they decide to take up the opportunity to sign him.
He is likely to be available for a reasonable amount of money. The German champions are prepared to cash in on him this summer. They paid £51 million for the player, but it is highly unlikely that they will be able to recoup close to that.
Tottenham need defensive reinforcements, and the 28-year-old has the quality and the experience to help them improve. He knows what it takes to play for a big club and fight for trophies regularly. He has won the league title with the German club this past season.
Tottenham will be able to offer him Champions League football for the next season, and the South Korean International could be tempted to join them. In addition to that, the presence of Son Heung-min at the London club could help convince the defender to join. He could be tempted to reunite with his compatriot at the Premier League club.
Son rates the defender highly, and he has previously labelled him as a “really good” player. It will be interesting to see if Tottenham can secure an agreement with the German champions now. Min-jae might not be the only player Tottenham try to sign from Bayern Munich this summer. They are expected to sign Mathys Tel permanently as well.
