Tottenham Hotspur want to sign Aleksandar Mitrović this summer

The 2025/26 season is going to be special. Tottenham Hotspur will once again play in the UEFA Champions League. Winning the Europa League final, and that too against a team like Manchester United, was not just a trophy for us; it was a statement. The club appointed Thomas Frank as a new manager this summer, and the change has already begun. Young and aggressive players like Mohammed Kudus and Mathys Tel have already joined the team, but Tottenham do not seem to be in the mood to stop here.

The last few seasons have been full of ups and downs for us. Sometimes Antonio Conte’s strict methods, sometimes the inconsistent performances of the team. After Harry Kane’s departure, the attack seemed to have weakened. Son Heung-min showed some glimpses, but his form was not stable. Richarlison has been hard to trust. There have been some good results, but the absence of trophies has been disappointing. Now, ahead of the new season, the change is clearly visible. This time it’s not just planning; it’s action.

Could Aleksandar Mitrović be the next player?

Tottenham’s next move is a clear indication that the club are looking for a striker. After the arrivals of Mohammed Kudus and Mathys Tel, the club are now eyeing an experienced centre-forward. According to a report from CaughtOffside, Tottenham have their eyes on Aleksandar Mitrović. Manchester United and Newcastle United are also in the race, but Spurs are looking at him as an alternative to Dominic Solanke.

Mitrovic has a lot of Premier League experience. He has scored several times for Fulham and has helped the team through tough times. His physical traits and presence in the box are something that our team is lacking at the moment. Al Hilal are asking for €30 million, which is an affordable deal in today’s transfer market.

Our View: Mitrović seems like the perfect fit

As Spurs fans, we can say that the need for a striker like Aleksandar Mitrović has increased even more. Richarlison has been inconsistent, and Son is no longer showing the same flair. Mitrović is 30 years old, meaning he is at the strongest point of his career. He has experience in the Premier League, he is used to the defenders here, and he knows how to score goals.

The Serbian game is physical, but that is what we need. Players who stand in the box, create chances and are a goal threat. He will provide space and opportunities as a target man for players like Kudus and Tel. Getting Mitrović for €30 million would be the right decision today.

Daniel Levy has to make a quick and clear decision this time. Yes, both Newcastle and Manchester United are in the race, but if Tottenham is a little proactive, this deal can happen. If Mitrović comes, he won’t just be a striker—he will be the new face of our hopes. Let’s go get him.
