New England Revolution teenage sensation Peyton Miller has emerged as a target for Tottenham

Tottenham Hotspur can witness some big changes in the squad in the summer transfer window.

The rebuilding process has already started with the club confirming the departure of few players. One of them was Sergio Reguilon, who is set to leave Spurs at the expiry of his contract later this month. French side AS Monaco have already begun talks to sign Reguilon as they look to swoop in the Spaniard on a potential free transfer next month.

Reguilon’s exit would leave Ange Postecoglou with only one natural left-back in Destiny Udogie. Djed Spence can play in that position, as evidenced this past season, but he is a right-back by trade and will be expected to compete with Pedro Porro again next term. Even if Ben Davies is handed an extension, he will be counted as a cover for the central defenders.

This makes it key for the Lilywhites to invest in a new left-back, and the club have apparently started scouring the market.

According to Blazing Musket senior editor Seth Macomber on his X account, Tottenham have held talks with MLS club New England Revolution in a bid to sign young left-back Peyton Miller. However, due to FIFA rules, Spurs have would have to loan him back to the MLS side until he turns 18 in November 2025.

Peyton Miller is in the midway of his breakout season with New England Revolution. He has caught the attention of clubs with his recent performances in the MLS. That includes scoring his first senior goal in a 3-0 win over CF Montreal last weekend. He also chipped in with an assist, and this has only seen interest in the teenage defender rise.

Tottenham have shown early interest in the American. They are planning to replace Reguilon in the squad with Miller, who is highly regarded in the MLS circuit. He would align with the North London club’s transfer recruitment of investing in young, exciting and impactful talent with high potential. The teenage sensation is bound to break into the USA national team under Mauricio Pochettino at some point in the future.

Spurs must hurry up and splash the cash to sign Miller, even if they’d have to loan him back to New England Revolution at least for the rest of the year. Come January 2026, he would arrive as a brand-new signing ready to take the Premier League by storm.
