The recruitment in recent years has focused solely on bringing youngsters in and developing them into world-class players.
Spurs have one of the best training facilities in England and they are making full use of it. Under Ange Postecoglou this season, the North London club is leading the charts for most minutes given to teenagers in the Premier League as well. It is clear to see that the Lilywhites are willing to give minutes to youngsters in the best competition and give them some time to develop.
A lot of things have gone wrong for Spurs this season. But fans will be happy to see that the club is trusting young players to make an impact during crucial matches. Another starlet that has made a name for himself is Mikey Moore. Being only 17-year-old, the versatile forward has already made a name for himself and he is regularly involved in the matchday squad.
Tottenham need to bring in reinforcements in the summer if they want to close the gap on their rivals next season. With Heung-Min Son struggling to find consistency and Timo Werner heading for the exit doors, Daniel Levy will look to bring in quality replacements to bolster the attacking line.
Spurs are interested in signing Clement Bischoff from Brondby in the summer. The 19-year-old has made some huge strides in the Danish league this season. The talented winger was close to joining Brighton and Hove Albion in January for £6m, but the deal fell through in the last minute.
Now, Tottenham are looking to capitalise on the missed opportunity and want to bring the Denmark U-21 international to N17. However, Spurs are not the only ones interested in signing the 19-year-old. Chelsea, Manchester City, and Nottingham Forest are also keen to add the talented winger to their ranks in the summer.
As per Sofascore, Clement Bischoff has featured in 37 games in all competitions this season. The winger has managed to score two goals and provide 10 assists for Brondby during that time. The 19-year-old has taken huge positive strides in his game and has become one of the first names on the team-sheet under Frederik Birk Christensen.
Bischoff will be an ideal signing for Tottenham. The 19-year-old will get time to develop and there would be no external pressure for consistent performances at the start. Signing the Danish winger would mean that Heung-Min Son will have some strong competition on the left. Bischoff would not cost a lot so Spurs could focus on spending the funds on other areas as well.
The Brondby winger will also provide much-needed depth in the wider areas for the Lilywhites. The 19-year-old can operate either operate as a left-winger, or as a left wing-back. He has excellent ball control and he can utilise his explosive pace effectively to venture up and down the field. The Denmark U-21 international is two-footed and can put in dangerous crosses from the touchline.
