Tottenham keeping tabs on Championship utility man, move planned for 2024

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly keeping tabs on the Leeds United midfielder Archie Gray.

A report from Daily Mail claims that they have been checking in on the 17-year-old midfielder from time to time with a move for the summer transfer window in mind.

Gray is highly rated in the Championship and he has a big future ahead of him. He could be a solid, long-term prospect for the North London club if they can secure his services.

The versatile ace can operate as a defensive midfielder, a central midfielder as well as a right back. He could be the ideal utility man for Tottenham in the coming seasons. He is already a regular for Leeds in the Championship this season.

A move to the Premier League would be an exciting step up for the youngster’s career and regular football in the top flight could accelerate his development.

Tottenham star Eric Dier has been linked with a move away from the club this month and Gray could be the ideal replacement for the 29-year-old utility man.

Leeds will not want to lose the 17-year-old prodigy any time soon, but he has a contract with them until the summer of 2025 and the Championship outfit will be under pressure to consider his future at the end of the season.

They will not want to lose him on a free transfer in 2025 and it would make sense for them to sell the player in the upcoming summer transfer window for a reasonable price.
