Bayern Munich attacker Leroy Sane has been linked with a move away from the club when his contract expires in a few weeks.

According to German publication BILD, the player’s agent has held transfer talks with Arsenal and Chelsea, but Tottenham are currently ahead of their London rivals, and they are looking to get the deal done.

Signing the 29-year-old and a free transfer will be an attractive option for the Premier League side. It remains to be seen whether they can convince him to join. They have secured Champions League qualification for the next season, and they have an exciting project. They will look to do well in the league next season and fight for trophies once again.

Tottenham need Leroy Sane

Tottenham need more quality and depth on the flanks, and the 29-year-old is an exceptional player. He has 13 goals to his name this season, and he has previously shown his quality in the Premier League with Manchester City. He helped them win league titles, and there is no doubt that he is going to help them in more ways than one.

Sane will not only add more cutting edge in the final third, his winning experience could prove to be priceless for Tottenham as well.

The player is at the peak of his powers, and he will look to compete at the highest level. Returning to the Premier League could be an exciting opportunity for him. It will be interesting to see if the player agrees to join Tottenham in the coming weeks. Sane currently earns around £240k-a-week at Bayern, and it is fair to assume that Tottenham will have to fork out a premium as well.

The player is reportedly in London right now on vacation with his family, and it remains to be seen whether Tottenham decide to hold talks with him regarding a potential move.

Arsenal and Chelsea keen

Arsenal could use more quality in the wide areas as well, especially with the way Gabriel Martinelli has performed this season. The Brazilian has been quite underwhelming, and Mikel Arteta needs more options.

Similarly, Chelsea need an upgrade on Mykhailo Mudryk. The Ukrainian has not been able to live up to the expectations since joining the club, and he is facing a lengthy ban for doping.
