Tottenham Hotspur striker Troy Parrott, who is currently on loan at Eredivisie club Excelsior, has been enjoying an impressive spell.

Parrott began his season-long loan spell at the Dutch club in August of last year.

During his stint so far, the Ireland international has been exceptional, netting 8 goals and delivering 4 assists in his 22 Eredivisie appearances. (Transfermarkt)

Unfortunately, Parrott sustained a hamstring injury last month, sidelining him for over a month and causing him to miss 7 games for both club and country.

The young striker made his return in Excelsior’s recent 4-0 league victory over FC Volendam on Friday.

According to the Spurs correspondent Alasdair Gold’s post on his official social media account on X, Parrott had quite an eventful outing upon his return from injury.

In his 68 minutes on the pitch, the 22-year-old managed to score a goal and provide an assist. However, the evening took a dramatic turn for the Irishman when he received a red card at the end of the game, long after he had been substituted.

In addition to his goals and assist in Excelsior’s triumph, Parrott delivered an exceptional performance overall. He had an expected goal of 1.03 and expected assists (xA) of 0.55, while also creating four chances in the game. (FotMob)

Several Bundesliga clubs have taken note of Parrott’s recent performances and are eager to secure his services.

Tottenham will explore potential suitors among German clubs for Parrott before his contract in North London expires in June of the following year.
